The Praxis Institute welcomes enrolments from certified professionals working in the domestic and family violence sector. Survivors and support persons who are not involved in the DV sector can enrol in the certificate course only. Our courses — including specialised workshops — are designed to equip frontline practitioners with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to respond effectively in complex, high-risk environments.

All courses are delivered online and can be completed at your own pace. Whether you're enrolling in a workshop or a course, you'll gain practical, trauma-informed, and evidence-based knowledge tailored to real-world challenges.

Students also receive exclusive bonus material throughout their journey with TPI. These additional resources—delivered via email—include specialised court-related content not available in the standard course or anywhere else outside The Praxis Institute.

📌 Please note: A qualification in Social Welfare, Youth Work, or an equivalent field is a prerequisite for the Advanced Certificate in High Conflict Family Court. Evidence of certification must be provided upon enrolment.

📚 Exceptional Circumstances Eligibility for the Advanced Certificate in High Conflict Family Court Dynamics

Applicants not currently working in the domestic and family violence sector may still be eligible for enrolment under exceptional circumstances. To qualify, you must be actively studying a Certificate-level qualification (or equivalent) in social welfare or a related field.

Please upload a formal reference on your training organisation’s letterhead, including your institution’s name and contact details for verification.

Upon successful application, The Praxis Institute will issue a formal letter of acceptance, which will include your assigned student identification number and the password to the Open Access Library. Please be advised that The Praxis Institute reserves the right to decline any application for enrolment in its courses or workshops at its sole discretion.

Kindly note that the seven-day cooling-off period commences from the date the enrolment form is submitted, regardless of when the acceptance letter is received.

If you are not currently working in the DV sector, you may still be eligible under exceptional circumstances if you are studying a relevant qualification. Please upload a reference on your training provider’s letterhead, along with any certificates and supporting documents, with contact details. The Praxis Institute reserves the right to decline enrolment.

Your course will commence seven days after the cooling-off period. From that date, you’ll have 12 months to complete your course at your own pace.

I understand that the 7-day cooling-off period commences upon submission of my enrolment form and includes weekends and public holidays. During this time, The Praxis Institute will conduct all necessary reference checks and verifications. If I wish to withdraw my enrolment within this period, I will email TPI. On Day 8, I will receive formal confirmation to proceed with payment.
